CLOTHING GIVEAWAY For three years now, our youth have held two giveaways per year, one in the spring and one in the fall. These events are inventoried largely with out-of-season clothing from our local Christian Community Outreach Center and many individual contributors from the area. We receive clothing, appliances, household goods, furniture, etc., in increasingly abundant quantities. And, each time, increasing numbers of folks in need arrive to carry off these treasures. This event has developed into its own ministry. The kids conceived of the event originally; they promote it; they staff it and they receive the blessings of Christian caring put into action. |
