"...So
great a cloud of witnesses..." You are all
invited to participate in creating a special Banner
to be used in worship on All Saints Sunday,
November __. The Banner will be in the narthex for
the next two Sundays and next to the banner will be
a basket with bells in it. You are all
invited to pin a bell on the Banner in memory of
departed family members and friends you want
remembered. You should also write the name of the
person(s) on the card provided and then place it in
the basket. The Banner
will be brought into the sanctuary on All Saints
Day. All the names will be brought to the altar
during the service. The names in memory of someone
will be read during the service. The Banner will be
a visual reminder of all the saints. Please take
time to stop in the narthex and share a name or
names, then, join us for worship on
November__.
The bulletin insert (text appears below) was placed in
bulletins in advance of All Saints Sunday. Small bells with
a ribbon and pin were available to pin on the banner, which
was used in the procession on All Saints Sunday.
