Last year we used a series called
"Where's Noah" by Arley K. Fadness. I purchased it from CSS
Publishing Company, Inc. Lima, Ohio. We had fun with this.
Each week Noah came to visit and spent time with the
children.The series included a weekly Crossword Puzzle which
we copied on legal size paper and used as placemats for our
soup and bread suppers. People talked with each other, and
seemed to really enjoy both the fellowship and the Crossword
Puzzles. We put a Bible on each table so that families could
easily look things up to find the answers. Some pertained to
what the theme was the week before, so it was important to
attend every Wednesday. The young people even encouraged
their family to attend so that they could get the answers
for next weeks Crossword Puzzle. From what I understand
(this is my first year here) it was the largest number they
had had during Wednesday evening services in
years!
