Quarters for World Hunger

Each year, the Northwest Synod of Wisconsin, at its Synod Assembly, collects quarters from individuals and congregations to help in the fight against hunger.   Shown here are a couple of little tykes from Dovre Lutheran Church, Chetek, as they wheel their wagon down the center aisle, collecting a wagonful of quarters! Arlene Hoveland, parishioner, said, "When the little jar to collect quarters was out in the narthex, very few quarters appeared. But when the little boys with wagons went down the aisle, it was a different story!")
