Free in Christ to Serve the Neighbor: Group Leader Outlines
The Florida-Bahamas Synod Task Force for the Study of the ELCA Study on Sexuality has as its purpose to encourage and support congregations and groups in their continuing study of the study booklets which will lead to a Social Statement by the ELCA on sexuality. Part Three of “Journey Together Faithfully” has now been published and the responses are due by November, 2007. The task force, in encouraging congregations to take part in this study, believes that making a convenient and easy-to-use outline will encourage more congregations to take part in this study and therefore respond to the ELCA Churchwide Task Force. The Group Leader Outlines have taken the body of each session and outlined it and placed questions for discussion at appropriate places within the session. Each session also begins with a get-to-know you question that is intended to build trust among the study members.
