Prayer Pockets craft idea

Include this craft activity with the prayer resources requested: Materials Back pocket from Blue Jeans (or other heavy pants) Fabric Paint Weekly prayers (distributed weekly through the bulletin or at Sunday School) Before class - cut the back pocket off of the blue jeans. Be sure to cut the "seat of the pants" as well. The craft itself is very simple: Have the children / adults paint a design on the pocket of the jeans. Allow to dry (remember, this paint does not wash off!) and take home. Give the children/adults a prayer to take home each week. The weekly prayer is stored in the pocket and used........ at the meal, before work, or perhaps before bed!
