Easter Monday

Light

Jesus brings light to a dark world.

The Lily

The bulb of an Easter lily is put into the ground. It looks brown and decayed. In the ground it begins to change! It grows and blooms in a new form. This symbolizes the new resurrected body we will have after death and burial.

Go and tell others about our risen Lord!

You may have an Easter lily or other plant that grew from a bulb. When these flowers have finished blooming and the leaves have died back, dig up the bulbs and plant them in your or a friend's garden. Often they will grow again and come back to bloom each year during the summer.
