Go Tell It On the Mountain

Go tell it on the mountain
Over the hills and everywhere.
Go tell it on the mountain
That Jesus Christ is Lord.

While Lutherans are sitting
All silent in the pews,
The sad and lost and lonely
Await the Lord's Good News.

CHORUS

The Lord is all sufficient.
He will prepare the way.
Reach out to all your neighbors;
Invite them in today.

CHORUS

The words of grace bring freedom.
Go share them now with pride,
As "come and join the Lutherans,"
Rings out both far and wide.
