First Communion is approaching. The children
make their own communion bread with the help of the
parents. Stoles were also made (by an adult) and the
children take them home and decorate them however
they want (with parents help.) This is something
they take home with them. Also hand made pottery
chalices are ordered. During communion, each child
and his or her family come forward. Their own
chalice is used for them and their family to
receive communion. The chalices also go home with
the children after the service.
