“Getting to know you…”
After putting on your nametag, introduce yourself to someone and
sit down together. As soon as you wish, share your reactions to
the questions listed below.
- Where have you lived? What do you remember most about each home/community?
- Tell about significant people in your life when you were:
a) a child
b) an adolescent
c) a teenager
Why were they important to you?
- What feelings do you have about your confirmation experience and/or
your church as you grew up?
- What challenges are facing your
children today? How are they similar/different from when you
were growing up?
- What support structures
are presently in place for your children? How are they similar/different
from those available to you when you grew up?
- What songs were popular when you
were in high school?
- What do you want your relationship of your
son/daughter to look like three years from now?
