One skein of worsted weight non-mercerized cotton yarn, like Sugar 'n' Cream

Size 6 needles

Instructions:

CO 4 sts.

Row One: Knit across.

Inc. Patt.: K2, YO, K to end of row. Continue with inc. patt. until you are knitting 39 sts to end of row following YO.

Dec. Patt: K1, K2tog, YO, K2tog, K to end of row. Continue with dec. patt. until 6 sts remain on needle.

Next Row: K1, K2tog, K2tog, K (4 sts rem).
